Employer Matching Gifts
Many companies are eager to double the impact of your generosity by matching donations to charitable causes. These matching gift programs are key to broadening our outreach and ensuring our services reach even more survivors and families in our community.
Check with your employer to see if your gifts or volunteer hours are eligible for a matching gift program.
Here’s a sample message you can send to your employer or HR department to get started on matching your donation:
Subject: Employee Match Request for Charitable Giving
Greetings!
I’m reaching out to ask whether [Your Company’s Name] matches employee charitable donations. I recently gave to the SAVA Center and would love to see whether my contribution is eligible for a company match.
The SAVA Center is Northern Colorado’s only dedicated rape crisis center, offering no-cost therapy, advocacy, prevention education, and a 24/7 crisis hotline for survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones, ages 3 and up.
If we offer matching gifts, please let me know how I can begin the process or submit the necessary documentation. More information about the organization is available at www.savacenter.org, and their Federal Tax ID is 38-3675536.
Thank you for your help.
