Internship Opportunities

SAVA Center offers bachelor's and master’s level internship opportunities to qualified candidates.

Victim Advocate Intern

Victim Advocate interns answer the 24-hour hotline (requiring some evening/weekend availability), provide medical or legal accompaniment, assist drop-in clients, and assist with projects as needed. This position requires 40-hour hotline training, a background check, reliable transportation, and evening/weekend availability. Victim Advocate Interns must be 18+.

Prevention Intern

Prevention Interns assist with SAVA’s four prevention programs: SART Peers, SOAR, Speak Up!, and SuperWorld. Key duties include co-facilitating presentations and groups, assisting with administrative tasks, and organizing special projects. This position requires a background check and reliable transportation. Prevention Interns must be 18+.

Marketing Intern

Marketing Interns support development and outreach through event planning, donor cultivation, and mission-focused communications. Key work includes social media/email campaigns, creating basic designs for marketing materials, and supporting SAVA Soirée preparation. This position requires a background check, reliable transportation, and some evening/weekend availability. Marketing Interns must be 18+ and live in Larimer or Weld County.

Therapy Intern

Therapy Interns provide individual and group therapy to survivors of sexual violence ages three and up, and their non-offending loved ones. This position, for master’s level counseling and social work students, requires 40-hour hotline training (offered by SAVA Center), and a background check. Therapy Interns must be 18+.
